Abercrombies Fish Camp Reviews
I love this place, from the cozy cabins to the delicious perfectly made steak, thier farm raised catfish with all the country fixings you can think of. Talk about one heck of a awesome dinner, that keeps this Florida gal coming back for more. You are always greeted with a big southern smile, terrific service and did I say great food. OMG!!! That's some good food and great service from Traci. They even offer prime grade steaks.
Although located in rural Clayton AL this place has a huge dining area and bar, and is packed during the Alabama deer season (late November to February 10th). The owners' daughter Avery is a waitress here and is a gorgeous young woman, much like her mother Tracy who helps out when they're busy. Another waitress, Hannah King, is an accomplished singer and also a beauty. Their ribeye dinner, complete with salad and vegetable is $19.95 and is outstanding. I live in Chicago but dine here whenever I'm in Clayton hunting. It's by far the best restaurant within a 25 mile radius, and has country and western singers in the fall. This place was amazing. My wife had the 10 oz ribeye and I had the fried shrimp plate with fried oysters to make it a combo. Both entrees came with salad and a side. The ribeye was certified Angus. Sides and hush puppies were good. Good entertainment, The Kerchner Bros. were very talented and sang country music. Service was great and fast.
